Chuck Says Goodbye Friday
This Friday at 8PM Eastern, perhaps my favorite TV show of all time will begin for the last time. Chuck, on NBC, ends its five season run Friday. Why has a show with mediocre ratings become one of my favorite TV shows ever? Simply put, the show is a joy to watch. Action, comedy, drama, romance, geek references (some of which even go over my head), and heart. The two main characters, Chuck and...

Recipe: Bulgur Salad with Green Onion Vinaigrette →
I’ve made this salad several times and it’s great.  Light, but with bold flavors and a little bit of heat.  I leave half the seeds from the serrano chile and it has just enough of a kick.  Another great recipe from Bobby Flay.  A near identical recipe is in his Grilling for Life book (which I have).

Tile goes down
This weekend I’ll begin laying down tile in the Mancave. If everything goes well, I should be done by next weekend!

Holy Haluski Recipe : Guy Fieri : Food Network →
Just made this dish a few days ago.  Pretty good.  Don’t skimp on the pancetta as that makes the dish.  Make sure you have a large dutch oven too, the ingredients came to the top of mine before they wilted.

Man Cave Project 1:Tile
This past weekend I started project number one on my Belgian bar man cave. The plan was to lay down a uncoupling membrane and then lay the porcelain tile.  After a few lessons learned about mixing thinset, I’ve still yet to lay a tile.  I’ve got about 1/4 of the room left to lay the membrane.  I was hoping I could get all the tile laid, but that didn’t happen.  Pictures to come...

I’m looking at replacing my neglected Wordpress blog with Tumblr. I’ll try this for a week or three and see how it goes.
